It is rather simple. Knowing (to do) less will make use your talent, do what you are naturally good at.
Why?
Just because this is the single thing you know (to do).
Expanding your horizon, knowing to do this, and that, and that, and more, just a little bit of everything, will make you waste your talent on little things of everything, instead of being and doing the great being and thing.

No one (seems) to appreciate it?
Appreciate it yourself, the rest will come and see.
And everything you want will just materialize itself because you are always supported in doing, and being, that thing.
