You only “see” what you believe. If you believe that flowers are to be red in spring, you’ll only see the red flowers you are (actually) looking for. If you believe all people are good, you will only see the “good” people, people who are/ do “good” to you as per your definition of good.
That’s why different people watching the same movie and same happenings will tell the story – and even other stories in the movie and the event – according to their “seeings”, to their beliefs. Somebody, for example, admiring intellectual ability, will be impressed by the reasoning of one character who’s “coldness” may have adversely affected some people’s lives, while somebody “caring” for all people will be repelled by the very same character, and maybe doesn’t see it all (the intellectual ability).
You see what you believe, and that is the self fulfilling prophecy fulfilling itself.. It will always get back to you the things you are “looking” for. Are you looking for hardships? All the situations, persons, movies, books, “events” in your life will be an outlet for this prophecy, this belief, to hold true, to prove yourself.
The energy does not resist you, it DOES NOT contradict. It merely says “yes” and takes the forms that you are imprinting it.
Do you believe that relationships are nurturing and fun? You will naturally, instantly, “turn” every relationship you are consciously engaging in into a nurturing and funny outlet for you to be,
Change what you believe, and you will change what you “see”.
And you will change what you get, too.
