I told you you were a tree (in here) and now come the mirrors. There is a story about a human being looking for her answers to a wise person. The wise person was never to be seen – instead one may see their eyes only. The human being went and questioned many times, and everything she saw was frustration, anger, dissatisfaction, hate, revenge, dis-empowerment in the eyes that were looking back at them from behind the closed door. Many years passed, and the human being – I guess – got tired. The sharpening in the looking eyes has melt, and the despair and hate just fade away. Feeling rather at ease, the human being just wanted to see the wise person’s face. Nobody answered from behind the closed door. So she decided to brake it doen, only to find a mirror.
From this story to Joe Vitale’s new mirror technique, to your bathroom (or car) mirror routine or to the ancient techniques of the mirror is not so much a difference. Who do YOU see in the mirror? Can you look at them? Can you really look at them? What are they telling you?
As you already guessed in the story I told, about the eyes looking back at you from the mirror, it was YOU all along. Nobody else. “Look” your mother in the mirror – and let it be. It will fade away. You might be in tears. “Look” your father in the mirror – you may feel the hate. Let it be, it will fade away. Finally, look yourself in the mirror – it will never fade away. You will feel love, and tranquility, and wisdom, all the great gifts you are now giving (to) your self.
(the mirror technique may start at a few seconds a day in the mirror. prolong it as much as you can. leave when you have the lesson, it will fade away and the image in the mirror will literally change)
